Tarot can be a powerful tool for promoting self-awareness and fostering intuition. Just in asking the question, we begin to discover and connect with our True Self.
The imagery of the tarot had me at first glance. The symbols and archetypes spoke to me. I was captivated by the idea of deciphering hidden messages from The Beyond. Could I really have all the answers to all my questions by studying this beautiful deck of cards? I suppose the short answer is yes. But over the many years of working with tarot I have found that a reading can actually pose more questions than give direct answers. And that is not a bad thing! Once we begin asking questions, we begin exploring our world. The key is to learn to ask the right questions. Carl Jung said, “To ask the right question is already half the solution of a problem.” In asking the right questions we begin our journey to self-awareness and start to tap into our own intuition. The cards are there to show you what you most likely already know in your heart and to guide you in delving even deeper. You can gain a fresh perspective on your outer world by connecting to your inner-wisdom!
The Universe has countless ways to communicate with us. The archetypes and symbolism of the tarot can show us the answers that lie within us.
At first glance, the cards in a reading may seem random and unrelated. But there is a message there. I believe the Universe is always sending us messages and the tarot is a very powerful tool that enables us to understand those messages, especially when combined with an open heart and a pure intention. After years of working with tarot, I have come to look at a spread of cards as a story that wants to be told. The gift that I want to share with you is my ability to “find the story.” This is a story that the Universe has for you, and it is exactly what you need to hear, exactly when you need to hear it. I am so excited to share my insight and experience with you as you set off on your own Fool’s Journey - inspired and fearless! I truly believe that anyone who wants to learn to read tarot cards can absolutely do so. I also believe that every reader is unique, seeing the tarot through their own lens. You bring your own experience and beliefs to the tarot table and not only do I respect and honor that, I love it! My lessons are focused on you finding and exploring your own path. The Fool’s Journey workshop is an exploration of the major arcana with exercises and discussions that allow us to see how these themes are showing up in our own lives.
